Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is a rare but life-threatening condition, often associated with tampon usage. Londoner Shivani’s last memory is inserting a tampon and waking up almost five days later in the hospital.

She had almost died when she contracted TSS, and it developed into sepsis. I spoke to her about her experience and the lasting effects of her ordeal.

I went along to chat to the owners, and had a taste test of all their best-sellers: Crab Rarebit, the Swansea Breakfast, the Caerphilly Cheesesteak, Ragu on Toast, and a slice of Bara Brith. 

I also asked several Welsh chefs what it is about Welsh food that has kept people coming back to this small establishment.
